Photographing London – Volume 1 – Central London

£18.95

George’s book to London came out a few months before the lockdown during which London was off-limits, so of-course sales were low. Now things are a little freer, we decided to knock £10 off the RRP in the run up to Christmas to encourage sales. If you haven’t got a copy, here’s your chance, and George’s book makes the perfect gift.

The Prof VINE VOICE 5.0 out of 5 stars The most comprehensive photo guide book on London

Wow, this was a pleasant surprise. This could be the best location-oriented photoguide I have yet to come across. The book is positively encyclopaedic in its coverage, appearing to leave no stone unturned. Across its 100s of pages, many, many locations in central London are described in very helpful detail- we have maps, travel info, info about the best settings and time of day/season to shoot the different locations- reading this is like going on a photo walk in London with a knowledgeable photographer guide. It really feels as if this photographer is sharing all their amassed knowledge in order to help the reader get the best shots in London. The accompanying maps and photographs (the latter all by the author I think) are excellent. I have lived in London and visited many times, sometimes with photographic intent, but I certainly got some new ideas and inspiration from this book. I really do highly recommend it to anyone interested in photographing London. It also includes useful info on etiquette, the law and safety.
